Green Lush Trees.....

Good Morning, I sat down to pray and look out the window (the birds are calling me) and see what a beautiful earth we have - how blessed are we? The trees are heavy with rain from the night and the flowers look like they are growing before my eyes...

I feed the birds each morning and it still amazes me when I go out they fly over and just sit waiting for me....they know they will be taken care of ...they trust me - why then do I not trust HIM as I should? HE will take care of things if I let HIM = why do I think I need to fix things? The birds are teaching me....HE knew they would..... have a blessed day....

Birds are so amazing to watch. Our backyard is a very huge, open space...really we do not have backyard neighbors..they are far, far away..I say all that to say that we were on the lanai the other morning and it was amazing the birds we saw..cardinals, blue jays, sandhill cranes...I am going to get a few bird feeders out there...they are lovely to watch!

What a wonderful lesson to read tonight. I am always so tempted to fix things myself without trusting the Lord to take care of it first.
God bless!

I am watching the sparrows at the birdfeeder right now; they make such a ruckus when it's empty - they know it will be filled up again very soon!

Hi D of A,

I am so blessed as to be able to take my Bible out on to the patio and
read each day -- most days we have good weather and I find I spend more time with the Lord when I do it that way. So much to be thankful for.

If you want to participate in Beth Moore's study - follow this link - they actually posted the first week online - so you can read an excerpt from the study and if you scroll down just a bit there is a video of Beth Moore introducing the study - the study is by Kelly Minter.

I also find it hard to give it al to the Lord and he will make sure everything is in order acording to his plan not the one I think is his. I needed to read that I'm just like others and have the same struggles as every other human beings. I so love the lord and want to do everything for him.

We have 2 feeders placed carefully - so the diners are safely above ground while we the observers can get a good view - a bird's eye view - of them all. Seems to be birds of every kind, but mostly sparrows and robins and blue tits and little wrens, and as you say God sees to it they are taken of, and when he does this for the little birds what will He not do for us?
I've enjoyed reading your thoughtful posts and hope you will continue to blog as Daughter of Annie!

When I sit and look at the trees, the birds or nature in generally, I ponder the same thing. I guess that's only because when we observe nature, our minds have a chance to forget about all the chaos that surrounds us.

That's why I would love to go to a retreat where there is nothing but quietness, birds, trees, and a cozy cabin so that me and God can have an one on one.
